This summer, Dr. Lillian Ardell is assembling a team of dedicated language nerds to participate in a series of field-tested metalanguage, biliteracy and translanguaging activities.

The biliteracy collab offers you an opportunity to build your network oF equity-minded bilingual and ESOL teachers who are passionate about literacy, reading comp, bilingual pedagogy, and the theories that drive academic and social-emotional

You are a language nerd who may be at the precipice of a big change in your career. You are passionate about bringing social justice issues into bilingual and ESL classrooms, and are hungry to build community with other equity-minded educators and coaches.

Approximately 30 hours over the month of July for twice-weekly meetings, where you'll engage with core concepts (e.g. disrupting the monolingual bias, small brave moments) and provide Lillian with targeted feedback.
